 Carrera 2.7 MFI

Immediately after the legendary 1973 Carrera 2.7 RS production run was finished Porsche had to update the bumpers of the 911 due to new safety regulations. With these new “G” series cars they continued to make a limited number Carreras, roughly 1,600, the same as the ’73 RS. These were equivalent to the 1973 RS Touring (M472) models in weight, power and performance as they continued to use the legendary 210 bhp 911/83 RS-spec mechanically fuel injected (MFI) engine.
This particular Carrera 2.7 MFI was attended to by Historika in 2015 with the 2.7 MFI being rebuilt and uprated to twin spark heads as the 2.8 RSR. At the same time the brakes and suspension were uprated and the interior was refurbished – new headlining, carpets, steering wheel, etc.
