1965 FIA MUSTANG
Imported to the UK in 1991 and race prepared to appendix K by Allan Lloyd who won the FIA Championship with the car.
Subsequently the car has been prepared by John Freeman Racing and raced with considerable success in the Masters Series driven by Richard Oldworth and Rob Hartley. The Steve Warrior 4.7 litre engine has 15 hours use from a 30 hour rebuild cycle and the gearbox 15 hours from a 50 hour cycle. A new single plate helix paddle clutch has just been fitted.
This racing Mustang has been comprehensively overhauled since it’s last outing and is ready to race in the Masters, the Spa 6 hours or the Goodwood Revival.
