P57/3 was one of the 3 works cars contesting the initial 1,500 cc World Championship driven by both Tony Brooks and Graham Hill.

Before David Clark aquired the car fifteen years ago.
The car has been expertly prepared over the years, and has now a beautiful, well earned patina. Tony Brooks came across the car at a recent Grand Prix Historique de Monaco and said it was exactly as he’d stepped out of it at the end of 1961.
The engine, 5601, is the first BRM V8 made, has just been rebuilt and the car has HTP papers. Over the past dozen years BRM P57/3’s outings have been limited to Goodwood each year and Monaco every other.
Damon Hill raced his father’s car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2006.
